8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Kanvas requires users to be at least 13 to create an account. Our Family plan allows parents to create managed child profiles for children under 13. Child profiles are:

  • Created and fully controlled by the parent/guardian
  • Accessed via PIN on the parent's device (no independent accounts)
  • Limited to display name and age range only (no date of birth or email)
  • Excluded from AI learning and behavioral analysis
  • Never shared with third parties for advertising

9. Regional Privacy Rights

EU/EEA (GDPR): You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and objection. We process data based on contractual necessity, legitimate interests, and consent.

California (CCPA/CPRA): You have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of sale. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
